{real wedding} megan + geoff : walkabout Creek, the Gap Brisbane

Megan is one of the designers in our Inspire Me Weddings office!
Her wedding to Geoff was very much a DIY affair filled with loads of colour & personal touches. Here are some of the details by Megan….

Wedding Dress: “Dress was Lisa Ho (from the outlet store at Harbour Town! nearly half price!). Shoes from Izabel + Sebastian at Southbank (Shoe: Melissa + J Maskrey Ultragirl Swarovski) I saw them in a mag and fell in love, most expensive shoes I own, they remind me of cinderella! Hair piece from Diva. ”

Flowers: “We bought the flowers for the bouquets and table centre pieces from the Flower markets at Rocklea. My mum has had some experience putting flower arrangements together so we put the bouquets together ourselves.”

Favours: “The favours were Strawberry and apple jam that my Mum and I made. I found the jars at Bargin city for $1 each and bought produce from the Jan Powell Markets. We bought the fabric from Spotlight and tied it to the top of the jam jars. This then corresponded to the seating chart as each table’s favours had a different patterned fabric.”
